Some have said it's Tarkov in space. Well...this is somewhat true except nowhere NEAR as in-depth and advanced. At the moment, there are no super-specific in-depth mechanics that Tarkov contains (i.e. ammunition types), so it's a much more casualized version of the Tarkov "raid" experience. There are space battles and the typical ADS battles in most first person shooters, though you want to grab loot and complete quests and level up in order to get more good things. I've had a ton of fun and looking forward to the full release. Steam Description: Marauders is a tactical first-person multiplayer looter shooter set in a sci-fi universe. As a space pirate, work solo, or in a squad of up to 3 other players to navigate a hostile battleground, hunt for loot, craft new weapons and gear, and salvage what you’ll need to survive. System Requirements: MINIMUM: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 10 Processor: Intel Core i5-4570, 3.2 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X, 3.4 GHz Memory: 12 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, 2 GB or AMD Radeon R9 280, 3 GB Network: Broadband Internet connection Additional Notes: Be advised! Marauders is still in development, so those requirements are subject to change before the release! RECOMMENDED: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 10 Processor: Intel Core i5-8400, 2.8 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 3.6 GHz Memory: 12 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8 GB Network: Broadband Internet connection Additional Notes: Be advised! Marauders is still in development, so those requirements are subject to change before the release!

So...this apparently is something like the 2nd highest rated game on steam this year? It's...exactly what you would expect. If you enjoy the finer things and life and tedious cleaning...I guess this is for you. Steam Description: Release the Pressure with PowerWash Simulator! Wash away your worries with the soothing sounds of high-pressure water. Fire up your power washer and blast away every speck of dirt and grime you can find, all with the simple satisfaction of power-washing to a sparkling finish. System Requirements: MINIMUM: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 8 (64-bit) or newer Processor: Intel i5-760 (4*2800), AMD Phenom II Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 760, AMD R7-260X DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 6 GB available space Additional Notes: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system RECOMMENDED: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

I haven't played much of this, but I know 2 things. 1. There's a lot of gore and 2. It's got some sexy looking reload animations. The game is a wave survival game where you take out mutants and clones called "Zeds" in waves where between waves you can purchase some new equipment, weapons, armor, etc. This year, they released an updated titled "Tidal Terror" with a bunch of new goodies/DLCs. I've heard it's better as co-op and not a lone ranger...but most things are. EPIC GAMES Description: In KILLING FLOOR 2, players descend into continental Europe after it has been overrun by horrific, murderous clones called Zeds that were created by rogue elements of the Horzine Corporation. 6-player Co-Op & 12-player VS Zed-slaughtering mayhem. System Requirements: MINIMUM: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Win7 64-bit, Win8/8.1 64-bit Processor: Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz or Phenom II X2 545 Memory: 3 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTS 250 or Radeon HD 4830 DirectX: Version 10 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 80 GB available space Additional Notes: UNSUPPORTED HARDWARE: IntelHD Integrated Graphics Chips, 32-bit Operating Systems, NVIDIA ® FleX features require a GeForce ® GTX™ 770 or higher (GeForce ® GTX™ 980 recommended) RECOMMENDED: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 10 64-bit Processor: Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz or Phenom II X4 955 Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 560 or Radeon HD 6950 DirectX: Version 11 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 100 GB available space Additional Notes: NVIDIA ® FleX features require a GeForce ® GTX™ 770 or higher (GeForce ® GTX™ 980 recommended)

Reality Mod Discord: https://discord.gg/realitymod This is Venice Unleashed, the platform used to play Battlefield 3: Reality Mod. If you want to know what the Reality Mod is, well..it's Project Reality 2 but on an updated platform. The game aims to provide a milsim-lite experience (a bit more casual than squad) with large, custom battlefields modified from the original BF3 maps. It's going to be available to the public July 17 2022 into a very early build but will continue to be modified and upgraded over the coming months. It aims to have a large-scale battle of 100+ players with vehicles, airstrikes, and good ole fashioned infantry. Get your gaming on. Here's the Reality Mod Roadmap/Website, but it runs on Venice Unleashed: https://bf3reality.com YOU MUST HAVE A LEGAL VERSION OF BF3 PREMIUM INSTALLED FOR THIS TO BE PLAYABLE

Vein is currently a free demo that you can download and play. A couple previous developers from the game Dead Matter decided to throw their hat into the zombie survival ring and create their own game. Right now, there's not a lot we know about it, other than it's going to be a multiplayer first person survival game where you can loot almost everything for something you need to survive. The demo is barebones now but wow - it could be something special. Keep your eye on this one and expect this page to be updated.

    GTFO

Recently, I picked up the game GTFO. If you want a difficult game - this is it. The enemies are deadly, but what really is enjoyable/terrifying is the environment. You never know what lurks around the corner, the ambient sounds bring about a fear of the unknown that provokes the thought "what kind of monster was that?" It can be played alone with bots, but they seem to be a little bit ditsy. I tried 2 player co-op, but that didn't last long. I'd recommend 4 players with good communication and someone that understands what's going on. Good luck out there, prisoner. Steam Description: GTFO is an extreme cooperative horror shooter that throws you from gripping suspense to explosive action in a heartbeat. Stealth, strategy, and teamwork are necessary to survive in your deadly, underground prison. Work together or die together.

This mod is attempting to revive the Modern Warfare Remastered PVP scene. Though you have to own the game, it allows for a fairly simple install to give you that feeling you had back in 2007 when you were pwning noobs until 2AM and disparaging a random gamer's mother. They've got the install instructions on the site (which this links to) so you can either set up your own server or play on others with custom rules. And you can unlock everything. Have fun!

Generation Zero is a game I picked up on Steam for 75% off at around $7.00. I haven't played it solo but I did play it with a buddy and MAN...it's a whole lot of fun. What I found most interesting is that it takes a nearly empty environment (much like Fallout 76) but makes it feel alive. I originally wanted to pick this up when it first came out, but saw some poor reviews. However - according to the steam ratings, the game has gotten MUCH better. I'm interested to see what the whole story is in this game. Steam Description: Sweden. 1989. When the residents of Östertörn wake to find robots on the rampage, winning becomes living. Alone or with up to three friends, sneak, scavenge and shoot your way to safety across a vast, varied landscape that is as intriguing as it is deadly.

If you like the mission Clean House in Modern Warfare 19, these games may hit the spot. Ready or Not is number one on the list and brings some incredible intensity, though comes with a heftier price (especially if you want content early). Zero Hour, on the other hand, is a less refined experience but is much softer on the budget. Both games are in early access, though are progressing with every update. If you enjoy that close quarters/CQB/breach and clear style of play and want more of that - these games are what I recommend. In my opinion, one of the most underrated first person shooters out there. Fun gunplay, nice weapon customization, and some enjoyable kills. Set in the Tarkov universe and formerly known as Contract Wars.

Alright, I know what you're thinking. Tactigamer covering Roblox? C'mon man. No - for real. This is something worth looking into - at least to follow along during the development. This game is looking so much better than the last time I played it. Previously, the game utilized the typical Roblox models with some sort of operator suits on, but now the models are the typical human models. The game has got some great gunplay, some CRAZY - and I mean CRAZY customization - and some great mechanics! The game's release is finally here, but it definitely has a long way to go. The optimization currently needs some work and uhm...(this is a big deal) - it's pay to win. Not that you can't do well with the early weapons, but you're definitely able to just buy everything you want as far as attachments go so that you gain an advantage over your enemy. If I wanted to buy a kitted out M4 with the lowest recoil so I could laser-beam my enemies...I could do that. So that's definitely not great. I don't exactly know how Roblox works when it comes to matchmaking and groups, but it seems like I could only play by myself. I could be wrong - going any further into this would force me to dive into Roblox research, and to be honest - I just think the game is a cool concept. I don't have much of a desire to dive into that. I'm more of a solo guy, anyway, so...there's that. Check it out with the orange link below (or to the side) and here's the developers twitter to follow along:

The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.

Chernobylite is somewhat nostalgic for me. I haven't played the STALKER games (at least not yet) but I've heard these are very similar. What I HAVE played, though, is the "All Ghillied Up" and "One Shot One Kill" missions of CoD4 and this is reminiscent of that. Not that the gameplay is similar, by any means, but being in the Chernobyl/Pripyat area reminds me of that time. What's cool about this game is that the team over at the Farm51 ACTUALLY WENT to some of these locations and did 3D scans in order to get an accurate portrayal of the environment. I haven't progressed the story too far, but it's nice because it comes with some "Free Roam" maps that you can just hop in and explore (which is what I did in the video below). Graphics for me are stunning, and I know they're likely even better with all the RTX fancy graphics (I do not have an RTX card so only an assumption). Steam Description: Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror RPG. Set in the hyper-realistic, 3D-scanned wasteland of Chernobyl’s Exclusion Zone, explore a non-linear storyline in your search to uncover the truth of your tortured past. System Requirements: MINIMUM: OS: Windows 7 SP1 (x64) Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K CPU Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Geforce GTX 660/GTX 1050/GTX 770M or AMD Radeon R7 260/Integrated Ryzen 7 4800H DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 40 GB available space Additional Notes: 30 FPS @ LOW Video Settings RECOMMENDED: OS: Windows 7 SP1 (x64), Windows 8 (x64), Windows 10 (x64) Processor: Intel Core i7 4790k CPU Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: Geforce GTX 970/GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480/RX 570 DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 40 GB available space Additional Notes: 30 FPS @ Ultra Video Settings / 60 FPS @ HIGH Video Settings
